The oldest somewhat understood or discussed epoch of the Old Ones is the Rune Epoch (also reffered to as "the Epoch of Runes"). This describes a time from about 2000 to 700 B.I.D., when the Old Ones left symbols in the form of runes at various locations in Áváhé to practice magic or mark areas and / or territories.
