The Wars of Old
General
The Wars of Old were a major conflict between Old Ones in the Upper North of Áváhé. They lasted from 5634 A.I.D. to 5640 A.I.D..
Facts Known
Not much is known about the course of the war and the reasons for the conflict. However, the clashes must have been devastating, as almost all of the indigenous peoples who had settled in the region left the Upper North and migrated south.
It is known, however, that the conflict was an internal one of the Old Ones. The Wolves were also not involved in the conflict and evaded the battles, as they were more flexible in nature than Humans.
Consequences
The Wars of Old triggered the Wars for the North, as the fleeing Human tribes came into conflicts with established imperial estates of the Imperii Draconi. How the empire handeled this crisis stirred up great outrage among the estates affected. This ushered in the Late Empire era.
The Wolves and the Old Ones went their separate ways after the war.
