The Dragons of the Dracoš archipelago had been hunted by the Mahr people for a long time and confined to their islands.  
The narrative unfolds in the year 7011 A.I.D.


When the king of the Mahr - <u>[[Hannas Sereuth]]</u> - intensifies the actions against the Dragons out of spite, a war breaks out, with heavy losses for both sides.  
The Dragons of the Dracoš archipelago had long been persecuted by the Mahr people and relegated to their islands. When King Hannas Sereuth of the Mahr escalates his actions against the Dragons out of spite, a war ensues, resulting in significant losses for both sides. The conflict drags on mainly due to the Dragons' relatively gentle nature and pacifism, which, however, is waning.


The two <u>[[The Magotho|Magotho]]</u> <u>[[Raecar and Ceñua]]</u>, in their exile on the <u>[[Thorntoll]]</u>, learn of the conflict in the upper north and send two of their descendants <u>[[Len Werthan|Len]]</u> and <u>[[Lourem Werthan|Lourem]]</u> there. Their intention behind this is to make the Magotho popular again on Dracoš, as the archipelago once belonged to [[Imperii Draconi|the empire of their ancestors]], which they dream of re-establishing.
<u>[[Raecar and Ceñua]]</u>, two members of the <u>[[Magotho]]</u> dynasty in exile on the Thorntoll, become aware of the conflict in the northern reaches and decide to send two of their descendants, Len and Lourem, to the region. Their intention is to restore the popularity of the Magotho on Dracoš, as the archipelago was once part of their <u>[[Imperii Draconi|ancestral empire]]</u>, which they aspire to re-establish. They deem Dracoš relevant despite the immense distance.


Lourem first learns at this time that he has a brother and is assigned to seek him out. Len, who grew up and lives in neutral <u>[[Thôsco]]</u> in the mid-south, is surprised by his brother, whom he did not know before, as his mother had never told him of his existence as well. Since Dracoš once belonged to the Magotho Empire, the Dragons there remember them well. Len and Lourem comply with the wishes of their mother and uncle and move to the north.  
It is during this period that the <u>[[Lourem Werthan|Lourem]]</u> learns of the existence of his brother <u>[[Len Werthan|Len]]</u> and is tasked with seeking him out by uncle Raecar and mother Ceñua. Len, who had grown up and resided in neutral <u>[[Thôsco]]</u> in the mid-south, is taken aback by the discovery of his brother. Still, Lourem manages to convince Len to accompany him northward to intervene in Dracoš. They reach the islands but have to discover they are in no way prepared to handle the situation.


The Dragons of Dracoš destroy the Mahric capital <u>[[Steynmahr]]</u> in the year 7011 A.I.D.. This de facto rips the Mahr out of <u>[[The High Reich of Luyieverian Estates|the High Reich of Luyieverian Estates]]</u>, to which it belonged. The people of Luyieveria must now come to terms with the changed situation and the shock. Dragons were previously considered by them as extinct mythical creatures or plain animals.
In 7011 A.I.D., the Dragons of Dracoš destroy the Mahr capital, <u>[[Steynmaar]]</u>, effectively severing the Mahr from the <u>[[the High Reich of Luyieverian Estates|High Reich of Luyieverian Estates]]</u>, to which it had been affiliated. The people of Luyieveria - and especially the Mahr - are left to navigate the upheaval and shock of this development, as Dragons, once thought to be extinct mythical beings or mere animals, have now been revealed to be a real threat beyond their islands.


Secretly, Raecar and Ceñua also spread the news that two Dragons from the far south - their own offspring - were involved in the victory, although Len and Lourem didn't play too big a part in ending the war.

The story of the arc starts a while after the destruction of Steynmahr. The city has been razed to the ground and is abandoned. Only in the surrounding countryside there are still some farmers who do not want to or cannot leave their fields and fight for their survival. The monk Admun tries to keep people in line, but has great difficulty doing so as winter approaches.
